Deliverance (1972)
Nominated for 3 Oscars. Includes the iconic Duelling Banjos music played on guitar and banjo.
Barefoot in the Park (1967)
Robert Redford and Jane Fonda being brilliantly funny
City Lights (1931)
Some clearly influential comedy moments in a mostly turgid plot. The silent medium is difficult to watch, you have to forgive the technology!
City Lights (1931)
The highlight is the dance that is the boxing match.
Risky Business (1983)
I found this review on TheGeekShow.co.uk and I thought it summed it up pretty well: It’s a darker, moodier take on the genre that can lack a certain energy in places, but has a unique dreamlike quality and some very funny sequences that make it worth watching at least once.
Logan s Run (1976)
Some excellent dystopian ideas, dialogue is very poor in many places, but the scenery and effects stand up for their age quite well.
Logan s Run (1976)
Impressive dystopian world. 2nd half a bit random!
There Will Be Blood (2007)
Best bit - the milkshake analogy in Plainview s final rant against Eli. But the rest was tedious and overlong.
Tombstone (1993)
A terrific homage to.classic westerns. Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday stands out.
The Truman Show (1998)
Andy didn t like this at all
